The site had the basics covered: it explained the product and its features. But there were some major issues holding it back:

Copywriting

Research and messaging

We went through tons of sales, marketing, and product data to understand the platform and its market. This was followed by independent research to understand the customer, the market, and the opportunities we could address for better positioning.

We held a positioning workshop with key stakeholders at Viostream to align on our messaging strategy, value props, main differentiators and vision for the product and company.

Creating a targeted homepage

Problem: The old website was too generic—it spoke to anyone and everyone looking for video hosting, which meant it wasn’t speaking to anyone effectively.

Solution: We built the homepage around Viostream’s ideal personas. Instead of making visitors guess if the product was for them, we made it clear from the first scroll who Viostream serves and why they should care.

This allowed potential customers to self-qualify instantly, seeing their pain points and solutions reflected in the messaging.

Impact: More relevant traffic staying on the page, and a higher likelihood of turning visitors into leads—because when people feel seen, they stick around.

Getting customers to stay with a hook

Problem: Viostream’s old messaging—and its competitors—focused too much on video hosting as a commodity rather than a strategic advantage.

Most companies treat video like a content dump: upload, share, repeat. But they weren’t thinking about performance—how well their videos were engaging audiences, converting leads, or delivering real value.

Solution: We flipped the script.
Instead of just selling “video hosting,” we made Viostream’s value clear:

We highlighted the wasted time, money, and effort companies were losing by hosting videos on platforms that didn’t optimize performance.

Impact: Viostream’s positioning now makes a solid for a single platform to create, share and manage videos, making businesses rethink their approach to video—and why they need a smarter hosting platform.

Choosing an apt brand tone

Problem: Viostream’s old site was too dense—long paragraphs, technical terms, and corporate-speak that made it hard to digest.

Visitors don’t read, they skim. And if they don’t get the value fast? They’re gone.

Solution: We stripped away the fluff and replaced it with:

Shorter, punchier copy that gets to the point.

Conversational language that makes Viostream feel approachable.

Clearer value statements backed by real customer insights.

Impact: A website that reads fast, feels engaging, and actually connects with its audience—making it easier for visitors to take action.

Differentiating the product with clear value

Problem: Viostream’s competitors all sounded the same—feature-packed platforms that made video hosting sound easy but didn’t address why businesses struggle with video performance.

Viostream needed to differentiate itself without sounding like just another “best-in-class” tool.

Solution: We doubled down on Viostream’s core strength—helping businesses drive video performance, not just storage.

  • Showed prospects what they were missing—the untapped potential of better analytics, smarter CTAs, and audience insights.

Created a clear “Why Us” section to compare Viostream with competitors, highlighting how “more features” don’t always mean better results.

Used real-world examples to illustrate what “video done right” actually looks like.

Impact: Prospects no longer had to guess why Viostream was the better choice. The website now makes a strong, direct case for why video hosting should be about ROI, not just storage space.

Design

Viostream wanted to incorporate a ‘Modern Corporate’ branding as they built more pages.

It was functional, corporate, with a modernized look and feel that would introduce best practice SaaS conversion techniques and the updated positioning.

Colors

To complement the modern corporate aesthetic, we chose Blue (#2492FF) as the primary color, sourced from their logo. We later created a palette with Yellow (#FFDC1C), Teal (#129B9C)and other colors to add a lively pop.

Visuals

Although there was no particular design inspiration, we used a few different pattern styles (dots, swirls, flow, etc.) to ensure a variety in design.

Considering Viostream was all about video hosting, we created professional, bright, and clean animated visuals and imagery to complement the product.

We left no stone unturned to create a design that appeals to target customers— maintaining a balance between modern and minimal design without bordering on too edgy.

Videos

For the problem section, we decided to visualize the troubles customers are faced with when working with unknown stats, and declining average view counts. We showed a stream of videos, and the customer’s video getting lost among others in a disorganized video library.

Before/after

We decided to add a before/after section to show the impact Viostream’s service have on the prospects’s overall business. We designed an animated slider that alternated between text that described their situation with current tools and ‘post-Viostream’ to highlight the difference, mentioning lowered costs, growth in audience etc.

Fonts

For the headers, we used Causten for its’ sharpness and similarity to the logo. As for the body, we used the Inter font to ensure better clarity and readability.

Development

With clear feedback and direction, we kickstarted the development process on Webflow:

~ We first created a style guide tailored to the design. We wanted to ensure the Viostream team can easily manage and update the website as required.

~ To ensure a high-performance website, we included a combination of .mp4 incorporated into Lotties (.json animation format used to embed videos on websites) to maintain the layouts and reduce asset size.

~ We also incorporated flex-layouts for most website pages to make it easier for Viostream to modify them.

~ We created a custom dropdown section to showcase how different use cases can use Viostream.

~ We also created animations such as the vertical loop animation for the testimonies and a continuous loop animation for the investor logos.

Since the handover, Viostream has only made a few changes, without encountering any problems so far.
